1. Taking Screenshots on Samsung Wave

You can easily take screen shots on you Samsung wave phone by pressing HOME and HOLD button simultaneously. The taken images are saved directly to your images folder. This is especially useful if you need to take screenshots of games or apps.

2. Smart Search feature in Samsung Wave

This is a simple but effective search technique you can use to find the content on you phone. To access smart search all you need to do is double tap HOME button. Soon a search page will appear.

3. Keyboard types in Samsung Wave

You can enter the text in four different modes.

• QWERY keyboard

With this you can see the familiar QWERTY keyboard where you type each word letter by letter.

• Keypad

This is the classic method for entering text for phones. You will receive a number keypad with each number assigned to 3 letters. You can use predictive text to speed up the typing with this technique.

• Writing full screen

Here you are presented with a blank screen where you can write any word as you would on paper and it will convert to corresponding text. Pretty neat!

• Writing box

With this type of writing mode, you can enter letter by letter similar to QWERTY but the difference being that you only need to use your hand to paint the letter on the screen. It will be changed to the corresponding letter!

1. Service Mode

You can use service mode to change many settings and to run tests. All you need to enter is *#197328640# . Please make sure that you use this menu with care.

2. Battery mode

Use *#0228# enter into battery mode that will supply you with battery information.

3. Factory Format

You can use *2767*3855# completely reset the phone. It’ll remove all files and settings including the internal memory storage. It’ll also reinstall the phone firmware. So be careful before trying this out.

3. Sim and Network  lock settings

Using this setting you can check the status about sim lock and network lock.  Use *#7465625# for this.

4. Codes to get Firmware version information:
